Horsell has a ring of six bells, with a tenor of 11cwt. Practice night is on Tuesday and the bells are rung for Sunday morning service between 9.15 and 10am. The band of ringers is not large, and is actively looking for new recruits. This a good opportunity to learn the art of change-ringing in a friendly and social environment. This may be of particular interest to Scouts and Guides looking for additional activities, participants in the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme, or members of the congregation wanting to become involved in an interesting aspect of church life.
Any member of the community is welcome! If you are interested in coming along please contact the Joint Tower Captain, Avril Blagbrough on 01483 767421 or Helen Fox on 01483 770145.
