Christian Aid Week 11-17 May

Calling all bookworms, gardeners, crafters and bakers!! We need your help!

The Christian Aid team are looking ahead eagerly to Christian Aid Week 2025, and are planning to repeat last year's successful stall at Pop-in Coffee on Friday May 16th. Any good remaining will be available after the 10am Parish Communion service on May 18th.

  • Bookworms: Please set aside for us any books in good condition which you have enjoyed but no longer need.
  • Gardeners: If you are dividing herbaceous plants or taking cuttings - pot up the extras, label and save them for us.
  • Crafters: Reveal your hidden talents and make small crafted items others might appreciate in return for a donation.
  • Bakers: We shall need masses of home-made cakes - small and large - to be eaten with coffee or taken away for tea.

Start thinking NOW what you could donate to raise funds for Christian Aid.

If you can help by donating any of the above, please contact stmaryshorsell@btinternet.com

  2. Diversity: We commit to encourage, build up and celebrate racial diversity of the Body of Christ across the Parish
  3. Representation: We commit to improve the representation of UK Minority Ethnic/Global Majority Heritage (UKME/GMH) people in our congregation and in our lay and ordained leadership and staff
  4. Accountability: We commit to accountability and transparency in our parish, structures, and processes, with clear goals for racial diversity and inclusion
